A new identity

QS Group became Zovea. QS Vets is now Zovea Animal Health, QS Staffing is Zovea Talent. New office at Danzigerkade 69, new names, same people, same work. Ready for the next phase.

2022 – 2025

Scaling up the group

Moved into our new HQ at Danzigerkade 65 B. QS Group was established as the parent company to support the growing portfolio. QS Vets expanded its wholesale network to 50+ countries, while Blossom Vets launched as a Group Purchasing Organisation for independent veterinarians, growing to 325+ clinics in under three years. QS Staffing went live in 2024 to connect veterinary professionals with new career opportunities, and Poows hit Jumbo shelves in October 2025.

2021

Full focus on Europe

Dierenapotheek.nl was sold to Pet Service Holding NV. All energy went into QS Vets; quickly becoming the go-to partner for veterinary sourcing challenges across Europe.

2020

Proof of concept

Dr Petcare launched. QS Vets BV secured its wholesale license and closed its first deals, the concept worked. By year-end, the team grew to five languages and became a real commercial engine.

2019

New city, new ambitions

Dierenapotheek.nl moved from Lochem to Amsterdam. A new website went live, and the first plans for expansion into Germany started taking shape.

2018

Where it all started

Late 2018, Mick Zwolle acquired dierenapotheek.nl from Martin Hovius, marking the very first step in what would become an exciting adventure in the animal health industry.

Charity Partnership

We support Vets Without Borders and their LIFT project in Malawi - where 30 trained community health workers bring veterinary care directly to the villages that need it most.

Closer to home, we have adopted a unit at the Royal Association for the Protection of Dogs - a specialised shelter for older and traumatised dogs in the Netherlands who have nowhere else to go. Every animal deserves a fair chance.
